A SWEET MANGO

A fruit indigenous to the Indian subcontinent, the mango belongs to the genus Mangifera, consisting of numerous species of tropical fruiting trees in the flowering plant family Anacardiaceae. While other Mangifera species are also grown on a more localized basis, Mangifera indica – the Common Mango or Indian Mango – is the only mango tree commonly cultivated in many tropical and subtropical regions, and its fruit is distributed essentially world-wide.

Mango trees (Mangifera indica L.) grow 35–40 m (115–130 ft) tall, with a crown radius of 10 m (33 ft). The mango tree is long-lived, as some specimens still fruit after 300 years.[citation needed] In deep soil the taproot descends to a depth of 6 m (20 ft) and the profuse, wide-spreading feeder roots also send down many anchor roots, which penetrate several feet of soil. The leaves are evergreen,
alternate, simple, 15–35 cm (5.9–14 in) long and 6–16 cm (2.4–6.3 in) broad; when the leaves are young they are orange-pink, rapidly changing to a dark glossy red, then dark green as they mature. The flowers are produced in terminal panicles 10–40 cm (3.9–16 in) long; each flower is small and white with five petals 5–10 mm (0.20–0.39 in) long, with a mild sweet odor suggestive of lily of the valley. The fruit takes three to six months to ripen.

Many products were derived from mangoes..If you try them, you may forget yourself..There were products that are used to eat and some are used externally.

Amazing Guava

The fruit is green on the outside and almost white in the inside. There are some small seeds in it, which can be eaten. The fruit can be compared with a common pear. The taste is very light sweet. In the Philippines it is also known as "bayabas". Guava healthy? Guava is rich in vitamin C.

when i was a kid, i always go to the forest to get this fruit. I still remember when me and my sister went to hunt this enticing wild fruit. It was rainy and the branches of this tree is very slippy but it doesn't hind me to climb. When i was on the top, I found a big guava. Without minding what might happen, i try to get that one but i accidentally slip and fell down. It hurts but i learned.
We can't deny the fact that this wild tree has many uses. Aside from the vitamin it gives, it is also a source of different products just like candies, jams, cakes and
many others just like the pictures below.

A delicious durian

The durian is considered as :

"the king of all tropical fruit". The durian fruit is very big and heavy. A durian can weight up to 10 pounds. The whole skin consists of big, sharp and hard spines! Asian people are really fans of this 'king'. To open a durian, you need to insert a knife between the spines. The durian is high in proteins, minerals and fats. The durian is one of the most expensive fruits. For Asian people it tastes so good that it is worth the money!

Aside from being eaten fresh, the durian fruit is made into durian flavored candies, cakes, biscuits, shakes, ice cream and (believe it or not) durian flavored condoms - due to it's reputation as an aphrodisiac.

Eating durian is good for the heath. It is a good source of energy (high calorie), carbohydrates, dietary fiber and protein. The durian fruit has no cholesterol.
